Insulated Travel Case — compatible with Mounjaro KwikPen

A compact insulated travel case designed to carry up to two injection pens, including Mounjaro KwikPens, Wegovy pens and many insulin pens when travelling, commuting or spending time away from home.

The zipped case requires no batteries, charging or mains power.

This is a passive storage accessory. It does not measure or guarantee the temperature of its contents and should not be treated as a refrigerator or validated medical cold-chain container.

1. Put the capped Mounjaro KwikPen (or insulin pen) into the case.
2. Make sure the pen does not directly touch ice or another freezing surface.
3. Close the zip fully and keep the case away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
4. Minimise how often the case is opened during the journey.
5. If the medicine must remain between 2°C and 8°C, use a suitable temperature monitor and transfer it to appropriate refrigerated storage as soon as possible.

Unused Mounjaro KwikPens should normally be kept between 2°C and 8°C. They must not be frozen. If a pen has been frozen, it should not be used.

After first use, a Mounjaro KwikPen may be stored at a temperature no higher than 30°C for up to 30 days. It must be discarded after four weekly doses and no later than 30 days after first use.

Protect Mounjaro from heat and light. When travelling by air, keep the medicine with you in your hand luggage rather than checked luggage.

A travel case does not override the manufacturer’s storage instructions. If you are uncertain whether your medicine has been stored correctly, speak to a pharmacist, prescriber or the medicine’s manufacturer before using it.

Can I take it onto an aeroplane?

Lilly recommends carrying Mounjaro in hand luggage rather than checked baggage. Airline, airport and destination-country requirements vary, so check the applicable rules before travelling.

Can it be used with other injection pens?

Yes. The case may also be suitable for Wegovy pens and many insulin pens. Pen dimensions and storage requirements differ, so check the internal case dimensions and follow the storage instructions supplied with the specific medicine.

Is the case waterproof?

The outer is water-resistant but should not be submerged or exposed to prolonged heavy rain.

Are the medicine and injection pens included?

No. The product contains one insulated travel case only.
